FSMTB Elects New Leadership in 2015
Overland Park, Kan., October 13, 2015 – The 10th Annual Meeting of the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB) was held in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with 39 delegates in attendance, along with 125 registrants from member boards and business and professional associations.
The delegate assembly, comprised of FSMTB member boards and agencies, re-elected Linda Lyter, executive director of the West Virginia Massage Therapy Licensure Board to a 3-year position. Joining her, Ed Bolden, Chair of the Tennessee Massage Licensure Board and Craig Knowles, Chair of the Georgia Board of Massage Therapy, were both elected to fill 3-year positions. Charlene Russell, member of the Mississippi State Board of Massage Therapy, was elected to fill a 1-year term left by the resignation of Anthony Jusevitch earlier this year.
Karen Amstrong, former member of the Michigan Board of Massage Therapy, was re-elected to serve as president of the board, Ed Bolden was elected to serve as vice president, and Linda Lyter was re-elected to serve as treasurer of the board.
